I studied massage therapy at Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts - Bellingham. I have over 6 years of table experience. when I made the transition into massage therapy, I took a step back and analyzed my life. At one point I came to the moment when some of the patterns in my life had become awakeningly clear: I find purpose and identity with serving people. I have had many jobs throughout my life from waiting tables, to hotel doorman, to retail clothing. Even as I spent most of my gainfully employable years pouring concrete, I realized later because it was my family’s business, that it was my family I was serving that gave those years purpose.

In my first week of school to become a Massage Therapist, my instructor made us take the Hippocratic Oath, the same oath the doctor takes in med school. I knew then, my life was headed in the same direction as my heart.
